The following project describes about the working of the discovery kit. The user need not spend a lot of money on multiple developer boards as a result of this. Read on to know more.

The components that would be needed to complete the project are listed as follows:
- STMM32F0 DK
- Soldering iron
- Hacksaw with fine blade
- 0.1” pin sockets(4 x 1)
- Wires
- J Clips
The developer board used in the project has been divided into two major parts. One is the programmer and the other one is the “M0”. The developer board has been cut into two pieces from the horizontal line that connects the PC3 and the PC11 pins. Although, by doing this, the access to the pins would not be possible, the other half of the board has enough pins that can be used for desired purposes.
The software that should be chosen for the project must configure the PLL such that it can be driven by the internal HSE clock despite the external clock. The crystal pads would be available to the user in case of emergency.
The pins that are being soldered are as follows
- PA0: Remove R20/R21 and use their pads to access
- PA2, PA3: UART available on JP1 header
- PA5:T_JTCK, available on CN3 pin 2.
