A Grid tile inverter is used to connect the household AC outlet to one side and the wind turbine to the other side. The grid tile inverter basically converts the DC wind power to the AC pure sine wave matching the phase of grid that can be used for operating the AC powered devices. The solar cells that are used here are of 3.25” x 6” and produces a maximum output of 1.8 watts.

11 solar cells are used that are being wired with each other in series. The cells differ from each other by voltage from top to bottom and differ by current side to side. This means that if the series has been broken in a half 3 x 3 matrixes, it would still deliver the full voltage but the current generated would be half.
