This is a cool platform where a laptop can comfortably sit into since it is built strongly. It uses aluminum square tubing, casters, and motors/wheels as the frame is put together using JB Weld. A small laptop such as eeepc running a FreeBASIC program provides the simple commands that the PICAXE will execute.

The motors can be powered by 12V power supply using a lead acid battery and they can last for a long time. The chips are used to drive the motors while controlling the PWM speed. Using an Arduino, the robot can be controlled through the internet. This could be useful in government operations such as the bomb squads.
