This mod features another version of building an Iron Man mask. The idea is to develop something that would fit the face and to be smooth all over without any traces of obvious joins in the mask. To provide a solid front and back to the mask, a cardboard is needed. The paper is held together by glue and the bulk in a paper mache style is added by the newspaper. The even finish uses gold paint and the eyes are illuminated by white LEDs. To draw power from the arc reactor, a connector is used and power is added to the mask by wire and solder. Round the back of the mask is added elastic.

White LEDs are used to make the two pairs of lights where each has 2 LEDs and a 180 Ohm resistor. This allows driving the lights from the same battery as the reactor. To position the lights in the mask before sticking them into it, each light pair was glued to a small piece of card. Then a sheet of white card was placed over the back of the eyes. The wire than ran across the mask and out the back where the elastic ran is used to provide power. It ran into the shirt from the back of the head where it was connected to the arc reactor. A very loose fitting connector with mating pins is used to handle the connector with care. This allows the connector to separate rather than the wires from each other or the head from the rest of the body if the mask is ripped off for any reason. The glowing eyes and LEDs image is shown below together with the Arc reactor.
