This iPod Ammo Box represents an explosive new way of modifying music with a unique way to enjoy the tunes. The finished product can be seen from the image below with more of a military-look figure. It uses the original ammo box with a design from the 50s and it was originally termed as thodio A-Box.

The images below show what’s inside the box and how the iPod/MP3 player can be connected on the outside of the A-Box in order to listen to the tunes while running around with the A-Box. Another feature is that the box contains two 70W amplifiers along with woven Kevlar speakers. As expected from an outdoor-ready product, the A-Box comes equipped with an integrated rechargeable battery that can last for 15 hours.

The material is made of 1mm steel plate fortified from the inside with 6mm trespa and has a dimension of 30×15.5×19.5cm with a weight around 6.4 or 6.9 kilos. The output power can be 2×25 or 2×70 watts RMS. The 3.5mm connector jack consists of aux-in (male) and aux-in/out (female). To ensure a ridiculously good sound for a piece of metal, the fortification was made inert as possible with vibration dampening.
There are two models made for the A-Box which include the light version with 2 x 25 RMS amplifier and woven glass fiber speakers in carbon color. The heavy version contains 2 x 70 watts amplifiers and woven Kevlar speakers. It is the yellow material used in bullet proof vests. Indication lights in the bass tube are available in both versions. This will indicate the status of the battery with white, orange, and red colors. An additional feature of the heavy version are the indication lights behind the speaker which provides warning against distortion when driven too loud as well as giving a funky disco effect when driven slightly too loud.

As seen from the images above, the A-Box are not really bulletproof although the speakers are really made of Kevlar. In order to make it protected from bullets, it would require some amount of thickness.
